Join Ventura St Pat’s Day Parade on Your Bike & Support Safe Routes to School

Here’s an opportunity to promote Safe Routes to Schools in partnership with Supervisor Bennett in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Sat. March 17. The San Buenaventura ArtRiders Bicycle and Social Club did two Tweed and Leprechaun rides last year and we had a blast as you can see here.
You can join as a pedestrian or a cyclist. Seek out #28 near the Mission parking lot or on Santa Clara street at 9:30am and gather to wait for the parade to begin. Supervisor Bennett will be walking.
It’s predicted to RAIN cats, dogs, and leprechauns so be prepared. It will have an even greater impact if you show up in the weather ready to ride!
PS Our next ArtRide is the Bunny Hop on the First Friday in April. Rumor has it the Goodwill downtown has ears for 49 cents!
